The Spatial System is a digital command center using an open architechure approach which offers almost unlimited flexibility and upgradability. Here is a some of its features:
• Unlimited I/O - Spatial offers tremendous power and flexibility in terms of input/output connectivity and expandability with our 32 channel signal routing software. Both digital and analog sources can be incorporated into the system, including phono.
• Digital Room Correction - Our studio-quality measurement and data acquisition system performs a detailed 3D acoustic map of your room, analyzing both amplitude and phase properties. Low frequency nodal data is used to optimize Bass performance in your system. Even the most expensive and sophisticated speakers are dramatically affected by the unique properties of each room. It is not uncommon to see greater than +/- 10dB changes to the frequency response under 300Hz of a speaker compared to its anechoic response. This is, by far, the biggest issue in domestic hifi, yet largely ignored by most loudspeaker companies. The Spatial System approach allows you use your favorite speaker in an optimized situation regardless of your room's influence.
• Loudspeaker Correction - The Spatial correction software also analyzes and fixes frequency and phase abberations in the speaker itself across the full spectrum. This procedure creates a more linear and natural sounding delivery of music.
